Help.

I'm new to creating an application setup for my vb application and I'm running into problems. I'm using the wizard so I figured everything would flow smoothly. Unfortunately, it's not and I'm not familiar enough with what I'm doing to figure this out so I'm seeking help.

From what I can see the problem revolves around my use of "dbUseODBC." Whenever I check that box in the setup wizard the wizard starts looking for dlls like adme.dll, dtctrace.dll, dtccm.dll and others. They seem to be dependencies of the msrdo20.dll. From what I can see from the microsoft.com pages those are dlls used on Alpha machines. I'm not on an Alpha machine.

Am I missing something in my project? The app works just fine in the development environment. And I'm using "dbUseODBC" workspaces with the OpenConnection method to create connections if that helps.

I'm lost. Please help if you can.

Thank you,

Mary Ellen Perko
